Geneva Thayer

Registered Dental Assistant/Office Manager

Geneva's career in the dental field started when she was just 18 years old.  She was born and raised in Fresno, CA.  She graduated from San Joaquin Valley College in 1999 with her Associate's Degree in Dental Assisting.  She worked in the back office as a Registered Dental Assistant for 20 years.  For the past 2 and a half years she has been working at the front desk at Dr Danielsson's office and she loves it!!  She loves her patients and enjoys interacting with everyone!!

In her free time she loves to bake and spend time with her husband and youngest son, who is a Junior in high school.  She loves to camp and go four wheeling in their Jeep!!  Their oldest son is in the Navy and currently stationed in Norfolk, Virginia.

Dee Chandler

Receptionist

Dee came to Ridgecrest in 2007 when her mom transferred here. She graduated from Burroughs High School in 2018 and now attends the local community college Cerro Coso. Dee has only recently started working the dental field, but she loves it! She likes her job, her coworkers who welcomed her with open arms, and the patients she sees every day. Her plan is to become a welder or work in the dental field.

In her free time, she is either baking or writing. Dee hangs out with her mom, boyfriend, her cat, or dog any other time. 

Yvonne Shultz

Registered Dental Assistant/Back Office Manager

Yvonne's been in the dental field for 30+ years. She's an amazing assistant and knows what Dr need before he does! She loves working with the patients and has a great way of making them feel more like friends than another chart number.

She enjoys gardening, camping, swimming and baking (sometimes uses the office as her guinea pigs!). She has 2 Newfoundland's that look more like big black bears, a fussy cat that thinks she's the boss of the household, but they all are the love of Yvonne's life.  

Soyla Crouch

Dental Assistant

Soyla moved to Ridgecrest in 2021 from Shafter where she was born and raised. She has been in the dental field since 2016. She graduated from San Joaquin Valley College, Bakersfield. She has worked in general dentistry, pedodontics, orthodontics and now cosmetic dentistry.

She joined our office in 2022. "I am loving my job and the people I work with!!" She is a very busy woman. She is married with five children. In her free time she enjoys barbequing with friends and family, camping, deep sea fishing, cooking Mexican food and trying new things. 

Elaina Cowan

Dental Assistant

Elaina moved to Ridgecrest in 2019. She was a Regional Occupational Program (ROP) student in 2021, her junior year, through Burroughs High School. She decided that she wanted to explore the dental field through this program. She was a student in our office for her second semester. She is now a 2023 high school graduate, and is now a chairside dental assistant in our office. She is now attending Cerro Coso Community College to earn her bachelor's degree as a registered nurse. Elaina loves the outdoors. She enjoys riding her horses and going fishing.

Spending time with her family and friends is a significant part of her life, but most of all she enjoys meeting all of our wonderful patients and putting smiles on everyone's face!

Beth Steiber

Registered Dental Hygienist

Beth is a local girl who left Ridgecrest for wider horizons, but came back in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from USC School of Dentistry. A lot of her family still lives in Ridgecrest. She has tumbled down ski slopes, fallen off horses and rolled a quad, and still is the happiest in the higher elevations of the Eastern Sierras.

She loves dental hygiene. Mostly because of the relationships and friendships she has had the privilege to build with her patients. She appreciates the trust her patients have in her that she will do her job thoroughly but gently.  

Kieresten Anderson

Registered Dental Hygienist

Kieresten has been in the dental field for ten years. She began her journey in 2012 as a Dental Technician in the Air Force. From there she has gained valuable experience in multiple positions in dentistry from receptionist, hygiene coordinator, chairside assistant to now finding her passion in practicing as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Taft College Dental Hygiene Program at the top of her class. Kieresten loves the relationships she's created with her patients. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge for disease prevention and correlation between oral health and overall health/wellness.

Kieresten is married to a born and raised Ridgecrest resident. They have one son and one dog. As a family they enjoy many outdoor activities. In her downtime Kieresten enjoys cooking for others, reading a variety of genres, a good iced coffee, going for a run and spending time with family and friends!
